Helping Home Owners

Helping Homeowners

Times and our economy are changing; however the cornerstone of our economy remains home ownership.  Real estate is tied inextricably to our overall financial well-being.  From home ownership, home improvement and new home construction, to agriculture, financing, insurance and yes Wall Street, real estate affects us all.  New terms like REO, short sales and bank bailouts are entwined with our day-to-day conversations.  While it is my goal to bring Buyers and Sellers together, I remain loyal to my clients, my customers, and my friends through thick and thin.

I offer this general information to those who may find some benefit or help in these trying times.  And one last word of caution, please beware of refinance or rescue scams.

Sincerely,

Barbara Christ

Find out if you are eligible.

The Obama Administration has introduced a comprehensive Financial Stability Plan to address the key problems at the heart of the current crisis and get our economy back on track. A critical piece of that effort is Making Home Affordable, a plan to stabilize our housing market and help up to 7 to 9 million Americans reduce their monthly mortgage payments to more affordable levels.

The Home Affordable Refinance Program gives up to 4 to 5 million homeowners with loans owned or guaranteed by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac an opportunity to refinance into more affordable monthly payments. The Home Affordable Modification Program commits $75 billion to keep up to 3 to 4 million Americans in their homes by preventing avoidable foreclosures.

Look up your Loan
